Lemley Funeral Home, established by Bill Lemley in 1952, has been proudly serving the needs of families in Oneonta and the surrounding areas for more than 55 years. The first location was near the intersection of U.S. Highway 231 and State Highway 75. After 10 years, the funeral home relocated to a new facility on 2nd Avenue West and has remained in this location for over 40 years.
Originally, Lemley Funeral Home were independently owned and operated. In 2004, local funeral director Greg Long purchased Lemley Funeral Home. He once more began to operate funeral home as independent firm. Since Mr. Long's ownership, the funeral home have served the needs of many families.
Long Family Funeral Homes is a member of the Alabama Funeral Director Association, the National Funeral Directors Association, and the Cremation Association of North America.
